Hey hey, I’m Clarise!I grew up on a sheep and beef farm in Marlborough, New Zealand, where my love for photography started at just 10 years old. By 14, I had shot my first wedding and launched CSL Photography.Since then, I’ve been lucky enough to capture a wide range of moments and industries, from beautiful couples and pregnancy announcements to sporting events, charity balls, real estate, restaurants, and even ewes giving birth. My work has taken me from snow capped mountains to construction sites, always chasing stories worth telling.In 2020, I began studying Fine Arts at the University of Canterbury, graduating with First Class Honours with a focus on film and visual storytelling.After moving to Melbourne, I expanded into photographing construction projects, architecture, interiors, school photos and families, building on my love for capturing both people and place.Now, I’m based in Rupanyup in Western Victoria, working as a nanny and farm hand while continuing to scout new locations, meet local characters, and stay connected to the rural lifestyle that first shaped my work.
